2015, ARF’s Best Year Yet

2015 was recording breaking for the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons and was the best year in the organization’s 40+ year history. Here are a few of the highlights:

  • 1,477 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies were rescued and brought to ARF. 1,000 of which were rescued from certain death.
  • 1,397 animals were adopted into loving homes, an 11% increase over last year.
    (271 kittens, 90 cats, 630 puppies and 406 dogs)
  • 2,303 animals spayed/neutered thanks to the Operation Cat Program.
  • $500,000+ netted at its summer gala, contributing to ARF’s $2.9 million dollar operating budget. It was the organizations most successful benefit ever.

ARF is committed to this lifesaving work and is thankful for its adopters, donors, rescue partners and volunteers, with whom these achievements are made possible.

ARF’s mission is to actively rescue cats and dogs, provide quality care and offer sanctuary until loving homes can be found.
