“MY LESSONS FROM DOGS” told by the FIRST PLACE WINNER of the ARF Stroll to the Sea Dog Walk  “Smooch With Your Pooch” contest at the Mulford Farm, is an inspirational tale about the writer’s 22 years with Norfolk Terriers, an ironic journey to rediscovering his childlike energy, which drew him away from selling million dollar homes in the Hamptons and back to his first love, the theater, where he played on stages in New York City and beyond.

The amusing autobiographical story chronicles the beginning of his theater writing, a return to acting in NYC, a gig as a Hampton realtor on MTV, and ultimately portraying Truman Capote in TRU.

Conceived from improvisations with people he met while walking his dogs on the streets of the West Village in NYC, Patrick weaves a true and motivating tale about following your bliss and confronting death.
