Gumbo

Gumbo is a sensitive, soulful pup who’s just waiting for the right person to see how special he truly is. Gumbo originally came to us in 2025 as puppy from South Carolina and was adopted, but unfortunately he was returned at the end of March, of no fault of his own. Gumbo is looking for a quiet and loving home where he can truly shine - and he would do best as your one and only in the home, as he prefers to have his space and his humans to himself. While shy and reserved at first, once Gumbo gets to know you, he's a lovebug and will give plenty of kisses and tail wags. We've also seen Gumbo tends to feel more comfortable around women - and given the opportunity and patience, he's sure to become a dedicated and loyal companion who will become your shadow and want to do everything with you - from cuddling up on the couch to long walks along the beach. Loving a dog like Gumbo is a truly rewarding experience - as when he trusts you, you'll have his heart for life.
