Ruby Red

Ruby Red is a stunning three-year-old dog with a glossy mahogany coat and a personality that shines just as brightly. Her journey is as colorful as her coat. Ruby Red was found on a farm trying to play with some pigs, and the farmer didn’t quite appreciate that. We don’t blame her though, pigs are pretty great! She spent time in FAUNA’s care in Louisiana and became a favorite of the men at the Parish Jail who help care for FAUNA’s animals. Because she wasn’t getting the attention from adopters that she deserved at the jail, Ruby Red made her way to ARF Hamptons with the help of our rescue partner, BISSELL Pet Foundation. She’s a sweetheart with big energy, ready to join a family who loves adventure and prioritizes an active lifestyle. House trained, leash savvy, and fluent in her basic commands, Ruby Red is a smart, affectionate companion who is eager to please. This lively girl would thrive in a home where she can go on long walks, play, explore, and be part of a busy, loving household. Ruby Red is looking for a family ready to match her energy, shower her with love, and enjoy every day with a loyal, fun, and beautiful companion by their side.
