Daisy

This sweet mama has been through a lot in her short 3 years of life - she was found abandoned, caring for her four puppies with everything she had in Louisiana, and thanks to X-Port Paws, she's made her way to safety at ARF. Daisy is a shy and sensitive girl. The world feels big and overwhelming to her right now, and new people or environments can be scary. She’s not the kind of dog who will run up for attention right away - but if you give her the time, space, and patience she needs, she will slowly begin to show you her gentle, loving side. Everything with Daisy happens on her terms and at her pace, and building trust with her will become a truly rewarding journey. She would do best in a calm home where she can feel safe and secure without too much unpredictability. She’s looking for that special someone who understands that love doesn’t always happen instantly - but is incredibly rewarding when it grows. This mama deserves a second chance that she so valiantly gave her puppies - and now it's her turn to be loved and cherished.
