Southern Rescue Program
With yearly grants from The Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation for Animal Welfare since 2018, ARF Hamptons has supported animal shelters in communities across the Southern United States and other regions whom have been challenged by overpopulation and limited resources.
The mission of Irving and Phyllis Millstein Foundation is to protect, care for and support vulnerable, at-risk animals, and to address animal-related human conditions, connections and bonds. The Foundation supports the veterinary care and transport of dogs to ARF from areas in the country that struggle to care for them.
Foundation support has provided routine medical care for the rescued animals, along with spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, microchips and any extraordinary medical care when necessary to ensure that our rescues are healthy and ready to be adopted.
