One Dog’s Journey Through ARF’s Dog Training Program

Whether you’ve got a brand-new puppy or an old dog eager to learn new tricks, ARF’s William P. Rayner Training Center has something for every pup!

Just ask Wendy and her Rottweiler, Greta. Knowing her working dog needed structure and positive experiences with other pups, Wendy got Greta started in puppy socialization at just 10 weeks old. From there they advanced through puppy kindergarten, obedience, agility, and rally-o, even repeating some classes for extra practice.

“Each class builds upon the last,” Wendy shares. She credits the training not just for Greta’s skills but also for strengthening their bond.

Now, after months of hard work and tail wags, Greta has proudly earned her Canine Good Citizen blue ribbon!
