We love volunteers! Even one hour a week will help make a difference in the life of a homeless animal. Please stop by the Adoption Center to fill out a volunteer application. Volunteers must be 18 years old. Here are some of the volunteer opportunities available:

ARF is desperately seeking volunteers to walk dogs. Volunteers are needed every day to walk our resident dogs! Talk about rewarding work…If you have any time to spare to give to the animals, we promise you will get just as much out of it as they do. 

Friday, July 12 at 6 PM – Volunteer Orientation

Meet with our volunteer coordinator Jake Kommer at the ARF Adoption Center and learn about all the ways you can help the animals at ARF, from socializing our cats and dogs at the adoption center to working at the ARF Thrift & Treasure Shop in Sagaponack.You must be at least 18 to volunteer. NEW: Social Skills Training

ARF is offering a unique volunteer opportunity to work with our resident dogs that you may otherwise never have had the chance to meet. Our animal behaviorist, Dr. Barbara Pezzinate is now leading a Social Skills Training class for ARF dogs on Monday and Wednesdays at 2:00 PM and Fridays at 2:15 PM. This exciting new program will focus on animals who may not be ready for adoption and need extra training and positive experiences with new people.
