Therapy Dog Prep with Thomas Tulipan

Therapy Prep Classes will prepare handlers and dogs* for the Pet Partners therapy dog evaluation. The series of three classes will cover all the required obedience and therapy exercises that evaluators will use to determine a dog’s suitability for registration as a Pet Partners therapy dog. Please note this is a certification class, not an obedience class. It is recommended that participants have completed an obedience class or have already taken an AKC® Canine Good Citizen course, but not required.

*July 8: 12:00 PM-3:00 PM – Pre test with your dog to determine if they are suitable for the program.

*July 22: 11:00 AM-4:00 PM – Workshop in ARF Conference Room, no dogs.

*August 5th or August 12th: 12:00 PM – Evaluations
