This past August, ARF held the Bow Wow Meow Ball @home and presented Kathleen and Charlie Marder with ARF’s Champion of Animals Award. Kathleen and Charlie Marder started their landscaping business in 1975, just a year after ARF was founded, and they have been supporting ARF’s work in the community for 30 years. Through adoption events, garden tours, Thrift Shop donations, silent auctions – not to mention landscaping – their contributions to ARF tell only part of the story of their dedication to our community.

The exciting renovations and construction underway at ARF wouldn’t allow us to celebrate the Bow Wow Meow Ball together this past summer, but we will be together in 2023. Marders will establish the landscape for ARF’s campus at the conclusion of our Forever Home project.

ARF’s 15-minute program featured the happy stories of Wink & Buddy and everybody’s favorite face-licking, tail-wagging event: ARF’s Parade of Animals.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event. We are in awe of your generosity and kindness.
