Temporary Closure of ARF for Health Precautions

Dear Friends,

At ARF, the well-being of our cherished furry companions takes precedence in everything we do. In light of this commitment, we must inform you that ARF’s main facility will be temporarily closed to the public due to a recent concern regarding ringworm within our premises. It’s important to note that the outbreak is isolated to a specific area.

Out of an abundance of caution, ARF will remain closed to the public until Thursday, February 1. This temporary closure is a precautionary measure aimed at conducting a thorough assessment, treatment, and sanitation of our facility. We are diligently implementing all necessary safeguards to reopen ARF on Thursday, ensuring a secure and inviting environment for both our furry friends and our valued supporters.

Please rest assured that our dedicated medical and animal care teams are working tirelessly to administer the required care and treatment to any affected animals. Their health and comfort remain our top priority, and we have taken immediate measures to contain and address the situation effectively.

While we understand that this temporary closure may pose an inconvenience, we believe it is imperative to prioritize the health and well-being of our animals. Your understanding, support, and cooperation during this time are greatly appreciated.

Should you have any urgent concerns or inquiries, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email at info@arfhamptons.org or by leaving a message at (631) 537-0400.

We thank you for your continued support and understanding as we navigate through this situation together. Rest assured, we are unwavering in our commitment to upholding the highest standards of care for our animals, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming you back to ARF on Thursday, February 1.

Feel free to View Our Pets online and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

Kim Nichols
