The Kit Kat Fund
The Kit Kat Fund was established to honor the beloved Miniature Schnauzer of Gordon H. Hoppe and Michael Dehn Breault.
Kit, a retired show dog, was instrumental in helping her companion Sophie, an ARF rescue who lived life as puppy mill breeder, adjust to life outside of that cruel environment.
Kit tragically died too young, and the Kit Kat Fund was established to encourage and support adopters of puppy mill survivors and remind us that dogs can sometimes be the best therapy for one another.
In 2017, the Kit Kat Fund underwrote the adoption fee and ongoing medical care for Berk, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd, rescued from a Puppy Mill. Berk is featured as an alumni of ARF’s Top Ten.
Donations may be made in Kit’s honor to the Kit Kat Fund through the form that follows.
