A Special Note From ARF CEO, Kim Nichols

Dear Friends,

ARF is a special place because of you – the extraordinary community of adopters, donors, and volunteers that support us. Your trust in the ARF team and commitment to our mission touches our hearts profoundly and allows us to change the course of life for cats and dogs. Thank you.

ARF will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the upcoming year, and we are reinforcing our commitment to you, our community and the animals entrusted to our care.

With your generous assistance, in 2024 we will:
-Double the number of rescued cats and dogs and the number of adoptions,
-Expand our public vaccination and spay/neuter clinics, enhancing the health and well-being of our local canine and feline companions,
-Increase training opportunities and educational events to empower pet owners with the knowledge and tools to keep their beloved pets out of shelters and in loving homes.

These goals are ambitious, but we know that together, our community of adopters, donors, and volunteers will make 2024 ARF’s greatest year yet.

If it is within your means, please consider an end-of-year contribution to ARF. We are 100% community funded, and your donation will be a tribute to the cats and dogs who have left an indelible mark on your life, and a beacon of hope for those who are still awaiting our help.

With heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for a Happy New Year,

Kimberly J. Nichols
Executive Director and CEO

Daisy and Lilly were surrendered to ARF after their owner passed away. The family was grieving, and they called us for help to find a new home for this bonded pair. Because of your donations, we were able to ease their burden and find Daisy and Lilly a loving family within just eighteen days. Here they are celebrating Christmas in their forever home with their adopter, Nissa!
