ARF has teamed up with the Sag Harbor Cinema and their “Projections” series for “ARF’s Bark the Question: A Lesson in Dog Myths and Training.” on Sunday, April 28th, from 1-3 PM. This event is free to the public, and will feature a panel discussion and a pet adoption event at Steinbeck Park, from 2-3 PM.

Featured speakers will include ARF-affiliated certified professional dog trainers: Veronica Grzybowska, Cindy LeRoy, and Amy Kurtz, as well as Caryl Glaab, Director of Training Programs at the William P. Rayner Training Center at ARF. Sag Harbor Cinema’s Board Member April Gornik will moderate the discussion and the Q&A that follows.

After the discussion, attendees will walk to Steinbeck Park where the ARF Adoption Van will be on site with dogs looking for forever homes. “Projections” attendees, who will have to reserve a ticket through the Sag Harbor Cinema website, will receive a complimentary SHC dog bandana.

Sag Harbor Cinema founded the “Projections” series in 2021 with the aim to amplify the work and the mission of other East End non-profit organizations by providing a space to begin conversations and build audiences using the Cinema’s facility, network, and digital presence.

This edition of “Projections” is kindly sponsored by Dorothy Frankel. The “Projections” program is free to the public, but space is limited. Reserve a spot to attend.
