Happy Tails

December 2021, families across the east end and beyond celebrated their first holiday season with their new cat or dog.

In the spirit of the season, we are proud to present Happy Tails, a series of short films highlighting four of the hundreds of happy rescue stories from this past year. Watch as we share these films!

Todd’s Story

Meet Todd, a 17-year-old cat with the personality of a kitten, who was brought to ARF after his owner passed away. Your donations helped save Todd after he was diagnosed with diabetes, kidney disease, and hyperthyroidism.

If Todd could say thank you, he would. Senior cats and animals with special medical needs are often overlooked in shelters. Donate today, in honor of your pets, and in support of those who still need our help.

Harley’s Story

Meet Harley, a spunky little dog with a big heart. Harley was found roaming the streets of East Hampton in August, alone and hungry. His story is one of hope and perseverance, and it’s sure to fill your heart with joy.

Your donation can give a dog like Harley a second chance at life. ARF cares for dogs like Harley for as long as necessary – providing food, shelter, medical care, and love. As animal lovers, we all hope that if our pets ever found themselves in need, someone would be there to help them. Your support enables us to say yes when we receive a call for help.

The Story of Tee, Putter and Wedge

Every year, ARF rescues dozens upon dozens of local kittens from the Long Island’s east end. Watch the story of Tee, Putter, and Wedge, as they journey from the Bridgehampton Golf Course to ARF – and ultimately to their Forever Homes.

Animals like Tee, Putter, Wedge, and Brimley – and the people saving them – are counting on ARF. Your generosity enables us to say yes when we receive a call for help. Donate today, in honor of your pets, and in support of those who still need our help.
