Bow Wow Meow Ball
On Saturday, August 17th, ARF hosted the Bow Wow Meow Ball in celebration of our 50th anniversary. Over 350 guests attended the magical evening, which paid tribute to ARF’s founders Barbara Hotchkiss Posner, Sony Schotland, and Dorothy Wahl and awarded the Chantecaille family ARF’s Champion of Animals Award for their dedication and passion in support of ARF and animal welfare. The night raised funds for ARF’s cats and dogs, who stole the show at the end of the night with the Parade of Animals!
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Bow Wow Meow Ball, our Master of Ceremonies Chuck Scarborough, and our board of directors who did a beautiful job of coordinating the evening.

By the end of the weekend, 4 animals were adopted, including two kittens rescued locally through ARF’s Operation Cat program, 1 chihuahua rescued from South Carolina and one great Pyrenees rescued from Texas.
